Any report, statement, work order, or letter that can be published can be emailed as a PDF document.
Profile Settings - Publishing field
Manager documents by default are tagged as email when published.
Vendor documents by default are tagged as publish and copy to email.
Owner and tenant documents are by default tagged to be published.
The default can be changed in the appropriate profile.
Options in each profile are:
Defaullt - see above
Copy to Email - publish and send by email
Do not publish
Send by email - email only, don't publish
Suspend
Whenever the Publish button is used in a report or letter or statement, the resulting output is placed in the Upload folder and appropriately named for the recipient.
The steps are below.
To Email Reports
Go to Reports and highlight the report.
Click Run Highlighted Report. Enter any selection criteria.
Click Publish.
The resulting output is placed in the Upload folder and appropriately named for the recipient.
To Email Statements
Go to Mailings, Statements.
Click Run. Enter any selection criteria.
Click Publish.
The resulting output is placed in the Upload folder and appropriately named for the recipient.
To Email Work Order
Go to Maintenance, Work Order History.
Find the work order and highlight it.
Click Edit.
Click Print. Unmark File Copy.
Click Publish.
The resulting output is placed in the Upload folder and appropriately named for the recipient.
Email One Workorder
As an alternative to the above you can email a single work order by following the steps below.

Complete the work order and click Print.

Mark only the Vendor Copy checkbox.

Change the Name and Save.

On Vendor Assignment tab click Vendor Folder button.

Click Email Send Button.
|

Click Insert, Attach File.
|

Highlight file, click Open.
|
12.

Add subject and body (optional).
