Advance Payment
Any money received from a tenant for a charge not yet posted but scheduled to be posted, i.e. rent or recurring charges. The charge offsetting the advance payment will be done using scheduled charges at some time in the future.
Prepaid receipts for other than scheduled charges can be entered as a New Charge in the Receipts function, or considered as an Open Credit to pay future charges.
