The calendar window displays when you click the
A monthly calendar displays. If the date field is blank the calendar displayed will be based on the posting date (usually the system date). If the field has a date in it the calendar displayed will be based on that date.
The effective date is displayed above the calendar as day of week, month, day, year. It is updated as you progress thru the selection.
Selecting a day within the month is done by clicking on the day. Clicking on the

When you get to the date you want, click |
Today button will put the posting date in the date field.
Previous month - one per click
Next month - one per click
Previous year - one per click
Next year - one per click
OK to apply the date to the date field.
